I've been looking but just can't find anyone selling a harness wrap tape that is: >1" wide, slightly sticky, thin and flexible.

Someone might recommend tape from Plymouth but I can't find any local or online shops that sell it?

Anyone help me out plz?

We in the Great White North call it hockey tape.

Your so called "hockey tape" is actually friction tape.

Friction tape is a type of adhesive tape made from cloth impregnated with a rubber based adhesive. Because the adhesive is impregnated in the cloth, friction tape is sticky on both sides. The rubber based adhesive makes it an ideal electrical insulator and provides protection from liquids and corrosion. Friction tape is therefore commonly carried by electricians. The use of friction tape as an electrical insulator has declined over the years in favor of PVC electrical tape. The frictional properties of the tape come from the cloth material which is often made from cotton. The versatility of friction tape is almost unlimited. One common use is to wrap it around the blade of a hockey stick to improve puck control. Another use is to wrap it around the handle of a softball or baseball bat to give one a better grip. It's also useful as a base when wrapping a bicycle handlebar with handlebar tape.

Harness wrap tape is plain vinyl without any adhesive. Friction tape has adhesive and is a cloth material so technically, not the same thing.

All,
I actually have used both "hockey" tape and non-adhesive harness tape. Both from Eastwood. However, while uninstalling a recent system I came across a wide, thin and flexible PVC tape with some adhesive, but nothing near my 3M 33 stuff.   Seems like a great product if I could find it - but like I said I have the non-adhesive "harness" wraps.

So, anyone used the adhesive types of harness wrap and know where to get it?

Thanks much.
