hello, i have a brand new audiobahn A2200HCT (2003 model)  and i have to use 2 gauge wire for the power and ground connection.  this 2 gauge wire is fat as hell,  what kind of tool do i need to cut and strip this wire?

If you have a a good pair of crimpers you can cut it a
little at a time just take small bites its actually
pretty quick to do. To strip it take a razor blade and cut the insulation around the wire it should slide right
off. Make sure you solder any connecters you use with
that wire, crimping doesn't work to well without the right
tools

That's sounds a little large to me. Are you sure you need 2 gauge?

yes, i am positive i do, my amp is 1600w RMS.  the chart on this website recommends 2gauge wire for anything over 1400w

I use a rope cutter or tin snips. If you to the Home Depot you can find them in the tool coral. To strip the insulation casing off the cable I use a razor blade. Audiobahn makes some awesome amps they are very strong and reliable. Good luck with your install!
