I recently bought a 2008.5 nissan titan xe. It didn't come with cruise but I'm wanting to add it. I was told that it MAY be possible that the dash harness may contain the connector for the factory cruise switch. If this is true, does anyone know if the programming is on the ecu for cruise. The titans have a "drive by wire" throttle so I don't think any aftermarket cruise control units will work on my truck.

You can try Trilogix, they have cruise for vehilce with "drive by wire". I k ow they do some Nissans, I'm not sure about your Titan, sorry.

I bet the whole cruise program is already in the onboard computer. I recently bought an 08 Aveo without cruise, and bought the switch for 15 bucks and connected 2 wires and bingo, I had cruise control. I bet it is all there.

I'm hoping it is too. I'm almost certain it is but I don't wanna take the chance and it not be there after I bought all the switches and wiring ($210) and it not work.
