Well I just got one of these installed on my customers truck and found that it worked pretty well until I went down a hill. The unit drops out and cannot be reset until you shut it off and back on again.

I called tech and asked why and they tell me they know about the problem and are working on it. I asked WHY THEN ISN'T THAT POSTED ON THE WEBSITE NEXT TO THIS PRODUCT FOR THIS VEHICLE!!!! They said they are working on the next generation cruise controls for this truck. I'm thinking, that's great!!! I just got this installed now and what do I tell my customer? It's not perfect and here is the bill? We live in NH and have lots of hills. This is not acceptable!!

The Rostra cruise isn't a great choice but at least it doesn't do this! So now Trilogics say that they will work with me when the new module is available. I hope they don't expect me to pick up the tab for this little screw up.

Thanks Trilogics!!

Of the few I've sold and installed no one has complained about such behavior.
It must be fairly recent problem
We have a few hills here in the Ozarks too.

But Yes, Trilogix says they stopped selling them because of this and are designing new software and module to be a plug-in replacement for the ones that do act up.

The old product can be re-flashed for other makes/models that use those modules.

No mention on the costs if any for the trade-out.
