I need the location of the VSS & Tach lines for a Chevy 2008 Express , 6.0 , Vortec

I was able to use an Audiovox CCS-100 to pull the pedal perfectly ,with no binding,  and feel this will work as well as the expensive cruise units, if I can find these lines. I did find what I believe is the VSS on the 10 pin black connector ( GREEN / WHITE ) under the steering column , but no luck on the Tach .

The Audiovox needs both to work.

Any help ?

The 2008 Chevy van is an EASY install using the 9003 kit

Also works on the silverado/sierra

No need for that cumbersome pedal pull fiasco waiting to happen.

Many thanks to both of you for replying. I have pulled the Audiovox off, and the Rostra 2003 should be here this coming week. It is indeed a very simple install for that cruise.

Thanks again

Pedal pull is just not the way to go on a DBW vehicle...... there are better solutions. And safer solutions. You are on the better track with the Rostra piece, by far.

The link "using the 9003 kit" does not seem to be working. I recently got a '08 Chevy van 4.8l that I would like to put cruise control on. I searched and found the mfg but haven't found a dealer. Any help? Any special tools needed for the install?

Thanks
