try the alpine,dei or audiobox tech lines, if they cant help you find the right wire for what ever reason you can creep under the car and look for plugs going in to the transmision and test those with a multimeter. this might not work on the cars with complex transmitions, but it's worth a shot if your under gun to finish the install.
