Hello all, I hope someone will be kind enough to provide a speedy answer.
I am almost done with an engine swap project and need help with a cruise/multifunction lever to hook up the factory cruise control. The engine, trans, pcm, and cruise module are all from a 1994 Chevrolet Caprice/Impala SS LT1, and they have all been stuffed into a 1981 Chevrolet El Camino.
I procured a Rostra pn 250-3026 lever, which after installing, I realised is of the closed-circuit type. I need an open-circuit type switch to fit this older column, and the factory (94) cruise module. This particular application does NOT have the wiper switch mounted in the column, as most GM products do, instead, the wiper switch is in dash.
Is there a Rostra part number that is similar in design to the 250-3026, but of open-circuit design?
Thanks in advance for any responses.

Very few of the Rostra cruise switches use an open circuit. I don't believe they have any for your application other than maybe using a 250-3593 dash switch. Your other alternative is to use an entire Rostra cruise control.

Thanks for the info Sparkie. I have elected to mustardize a wiper switch into the column and use an aftermarket OE replacement cruise lever. The original dash switch is obsolete and is showing high resistance through the contacts anyway. Oddly enough, the colum accepted the wiper switch without any modifications, just had to tear it down to the upper bowl and swap the original dummy pivot to an actual wiper switch.
Nice forum ya'll have here, thanks again for the speedy response.
