I was mis-informed by several Toyota reps that my 07 Tacoma truck was plug and play . They sold me , and I installed the (OEM) stalk and the replacement wire located in the steering wheel hub.

Can someone tell me how to wire the rest of it-----to the ECU (?) which I think is located behind the glove box? If you could tell me pin # and lacation, it would be appreciated. 2007 -Tacoma -6cyl, -Auto, 4Dr.

Had the same thing happen with my 07 Tundra. Would like a simple diagram for wiring from connector under steering wheel (in cowl under wheel) to ground and connection points to ECM. Seems most responders on this site think everyone is an expert so they tell wire colors with little information.

When you start multiple threads about the same topic, that will happen. Some information is better than no information, when that is all the information available.

Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.
Story - Phzzzt! Hey, what happened?! ... Isn't it obvious?
Moral - Never dismiss the obvious.
