I'm installing an audiovox CCS-100 cruise control on my echo and I am having trouble with finding some wires. They say the VSS should be violet/white from the diagnostic controller. I only found violet/ black. I am looking for a copy of a wiring schematic.

I believe the VSS wire is actually found at the PCM under the passenger side dash. The wire is violet/white. Directly under the pass side dash you will see a black cover that hides the ECM connectors. The VSS wire is in either the one closest to the driver's side or the next one in. Rostra lists the wire in a 18 pin plug in the driver's kick panel, not at the diagnostic plug.n The tach wire is at the diagnostic plug. Make sure that you use the 250-4308 throttle adaptor.
