Has any hacked a ccs 100, problem, I'm cripple in the legs, have an off road vehicle, need to modify ccs 100 so it won't drop out when the RPMs vary. I was hoping I could set it to hold 3000 RPM and could climb a hill that way, but it keeps dropping out and I have to control the throttle but end up floor boarded.
The specific question is how is the vacuum to the diaphragm controlled? I plan to design my own circuit if I need to or just disable the safety cut out on the ccs 100.
Thanks,
Kinarfi

Wish I could edit my mistyping, maybe later, My problem isn't getting a signal for my ccs100, it's the workings of the ccs100 that is the problem, in the lower gears with a light weight vehicle, it accelerates to fast and the ccs100 interprets this as pushing the clutch in and drops out. I want to find a way to keep it from dropping out. Maybe there is a better unit out there. Years ago, 20 - 25, I had a cruise control call Escort, it had 2 adjustments on it and worked off magnets on the drive line and had a detente on the dial on the turn signal that you set for 60mph and if you wanted to go faster, you rolled the dial forward.
Anyway, what I want to know is what controls the vacuum to the diaphragm.
Thanks
Kinarfi
