Hi, i have a 1999 nissan pathfinder and sometimes when i turn on the cruise controll my instrument cluster shuts down completely, (digi-tachometer, speedometer, temp guage, and rpms) all shut down. tis has been happening for a while now and would like to find a resolution to this issue. any input is greatly appreciated thank you!!!

I had a similar problem with a Pathfinder once and it ended up being a short on the board in the parking light switch. Take apart the cruise switch and inspect for broken trace leads on the board that will cause shorts to the instrument panel.

do you recall the location of the module for the cruise controll on that nissan pathfinder? thanks!
