SCS/Frigette Vacuum Cruise
2001 Hyundai Accent

-power connections okay
-ground okay
-brake safety stuff okay
-vent/vac ground test moves throttle properly

When driving and turning cruise on, the vent line
does NOT fall to ground (as in the test) but to
about 2V below +Bat, vac does similar but plays
around between 3-5V below, though it maybe cycling
all the way to ground and the multimeter is
grabbing the average. The vent is definatly
static though.

Is this a broken control unit?

We are going on a _long_ road trip in a few
days so this is a real bummer if its not
fixable. posted_image

Is the VSS sensor connected right? Cruise works off the SPEED SENSOR, if there is no signal, it will not work. If everything is connected properly, then maybe a bad unit.
