when you are doing cruise on manual tranmissions are you using the clutch switch or the over rev protection on the unit??

Hey. Usually I just hook up the tach wire which is all there is for over rev protection on the unit. I know some people will do manuals with neither and technically the owner should have more of a clue so you shouldn't need it. So at the least I hook up the tach wire..
