I'm looking to install a new aftermarket cruise control unit in my 78 El Camino when I put a new Ram Jet crate engine after I come back from Iraq. I want to be able to control it from the dash. What would be the best aftermarket kit would be the best for me and what all would be involved with the installation. The Ram Jet comes with a computer, so can I just piggy back off of that? Thanks.

the scs/frigette cruise is best.

Your trasmission will have a VSS from the speedometer for the ECM?

Fine if so, or a VSS can be added.

You can also use a factory like arm for the cruise with the frigette unit
