I have intstalled a Electric Rostra Cruise Control in this car and have verified all my connections and the the throttle cable is parellel with the factory one and still surges like no other when i set it on the freeway any suggestions anyone i have tried tighting the cable and loosening it up and nothing... ANYONE HELP PLEASE

It sound to me like a programming problem. Make sure your cable is not tight. Leave just a tiny bit of play in it. Next program your pulses per mile which will be 4000.  I'm sure that you have the right VSS or it wouldn't engage. Set your sensitivities to the low setting. That should take out some if not all of the surging.

Your throttle cable for the cruise should be as tight as possible, but not so tight as to increase the idle speed of the engine. Set your sensitivity to extra low and the engine set-up timer to 4 cyl. low. Make sure that the cruise has a good ground to the chassis and that the VSS setting is set for a square wave. If you still get surging, then you may have a throttle geometry problem. An experienced cruise installer can remedy the problem if you can find one.

return that cruise and buy a SCS/Frigette cruise.

They operate smoothly where others don't
