I removed the Audovox cruise control that I installed on my ‘02 Ranger with the intention of installing it on my 2005 Ford F150 XL.  To my surprise the ’05 F150 is drive by wire.  Can a DYI’er install a cruise control on this vehicle?  If so how?

You can also just buy the switches instead of the whole steering whell.  $65.00 at ford dealersahip.

Steering installed. Computer flashed. Dealer charged $84.95. It was the easiest cruise control I’ve installed.

Thanks for the help!
