I am a new b that needs info.  I have a 2003 Monte Carlo LS 3.1.  It did not come with cruise cntrl.  What is the best way to install a system?  I would like to have it look as close to factory as possible.

Thanks, this is a great forum!

The SCS 4366 kit would work nicely for this vehicle and is designed for GM's. Your vehicle should be prewired from the factory for a cruise control. Look around the drivers side strut tower for a 10 pin plug hanging. The SCS kit comes with a harness that will plug directly into the OEM 10 pin plug. Use their 5129 handle and wire it into the OEM wiring @ the steering column on the inside. The only issue is that at the plug under the hood the hot side of the brake isn't there. Look at your oem brake switch and see if there is an extra pin hanging around that could be plugged in. If you find it and plug it in you'd be set to go, otherwise you would have to run 1 wire out to the servo for the hot side of the brake. Good luck,

Mike
