Vacuum line length?

Does the length of the vacuum line matter for cruise controls? Some rodent chewed mine up and I replaced it not knowing if line length matters. It seems to work fine.

Not really. As long as it's not looping around the entire engine bay. If it's only a couple of inches longer, that will not make a difference.
