I have a 2002 F350 diesel pickup truck.  Is there an after market cruise control available for this truck/engine?

there are none as far as i know. you have an electronic gas pedal. there is no physical linkage to the throttle body. therefore there is no way to hook a mechanical cruise the vehicle.  i have heard that ford makes one. you can buy it from parts i believe

I've got an ancient cruise control insalled on a 1984 Ford F250 Diesel. It was working fine and then it quit.

Apparently the magnet has come off the driveshaft.

Does anyone know where I can buy a magnet ??

You can buy the cruise for that diesel directly from Ford.  It takes about 10 minutes to install.  It uses no servo.  You can call parts at Delray Lincoln Mercury in Delray Beach, Fl.  Ask for parts and they will help you. They have the largest Wholesale Ford parts division in the country.  Phone number is 561-276-2411.  I know they have an 800 number but I do not have it.  It is very inexspensive and it's factory.  Ford pretty much has an application for all there vehicles.  Thats all I use when I get a Ford to put a cruise in.
