Hello

having fitted cruise control to my Ford mondeo (relativly easy job as they did it as an option on higer speced cars)

i now want to fit cruise control to my Diesel Range Rover with is my current project

the problem with the range rover is its a 1986 car and has no modern electronics no ECU and no VSS

how can i fit cruise to this vehicle also being a diesel the throttle works off the diesel pump which requires alot more force to move than a normal throttle body on a petrol car

HELP :errr:

If you have access to a ROSTRA Dealer or Speedometer Shop, you should be able to find a Speedometer Speed Signal Generator that you can adapt to your Speedometer Cable.

Or you can get a Magnetic Pick Up Type Cruise  ( I hate them ) which is pretty Universal.
As far as the Pull on the Throttle, you may have to experiment with using a weaker spring on the throttle
