I was wondering if anyone has installed a universal cruise control on a 94-96 corolla if you have some instructions on how to do so it would be great. Also a recomendation on which bran and model. I was thinking on the audiovox since it is very cheap.;)

Thanks

We use Rostra and they have a universal electric cruise available that we have had 0 problems with since we started working with cruise controls about 3 years ago.  They are very simple to install and the most time consuming part is to hook up to the throttle cable and running the cable from the Rostra system inside the engine so that it doesn't kink anywhere.

What model would you recomend? Where are they sold? and Are the instructions clear?

We use the SCS/Frigette cruise either the 3342 vacuum servo model or the 4342 Electric servo model.
Either work great and hold the speed dead-on.
Installation is easy and straight-forward.

Go to www.rostra.com and click on the cruise control section. There is a search available that will give you the recommended parts and wiring required for your vehicle. if this is your first cruise control, thoroughly read the installation manual before attempting it. They are not too difficult to install, but you must pay close attention to the throttle hook up to prevent any problems. A improper install can cause the throttle to get stuck open which is extremely dangerous.
