hey guys. i need info on purchasing and installing a cruise unit for my cavalier, its an 04 automatic,i install remote starters but have never done cruise, is this something i can do ? or should it go to a cruise pro? whats a good brand to get? etc..... ive never had a vehicle that didnt have factory cruise before so im kind of unknowledgeable to this...i am also a licenced mechanic so im not scared to get into it if you guys figure its do-able. thanks for any info in advance

Rostra is the biggest name in aftermarket cruise controls.  Click on Cruise Control link above and will show you what is involved. If you install remote starters then you can easily master this install. Pursuit is another company.

Rostra 1223, use the OEM handle. Pretty basic cruise, we've done tons of them. The OEM handle should set you back around $65 at your friendly dealership, the unit is up to wherever you purchase it.
