I have a strange one for you.

I have a 1969 Oldmosbile Steering column in my 1956 Chevrolet. I am putting in a 2004 Corvettel LS1 with electronic cruise control. I am told that it requires a turn signal switch/lever that is normally open. All of the after market ones are normally closed.

I've heard that I can use a normally closed lever, and run the wires through a relay, and be good. But, I've been told I need to run just the green wire through it, and I've been told I need to run all 4 thought it.

Does anyone know for sure how I need to do this, and possibly even input on how to wire the relay and switch?

(I wonder if this post should be in the relays section...)

Rostra makes a couple of levers that are normally open. The 250-3742 and any of their RF switches (steering wheel mounted) are open. The only difference in their RF units is the bracket that clips onto the steering wheel - it holds the wireless switches. There is a module that receives the signal that mounts under the dash.
