I'm doing one for a customer next week ( 1994 Civic HB DX ) and I'm using the Rostra 250-1223 with the 250-1483 RF switch.

We charge $ 400 installed for the entire system and parts + taxes. There are only 5-6 wires to install this and that's it. The majority of the time is mounting the unit in the engine bay and using the proper connections to the throttle cable.

The SCS/Frigette cruise is $260 installed.
or $160 out the door,, easy 5 wire hook up.
Easy throttle hook up too.

If you have never installed a cruise control before, I strongly suggest that you leave it to a pro. While the wiring isn't too difficult, properly hooking the throttle up is very important. If not done correctly the throttle could jam and cause serious damage to yourself, your car or someone else. Most import engines don't accomodate an aftermarket cruise easily and are prone to problems if not done right and with the correct parts. Ask yourself this. Do I trust my life to my ability to correctly install something that could jam my throttle wide open while driving? If you do, I recommend that you use a Rostra cruise control. Their units are excellent and they have full instructions. They even have a specific throttle adaptor for your car to correctly hook up the throttle linkage.
