I know there is no such thing as a "best" but... what are the professional opinions... I ahve an '88 Tracer/Mazda 323 Turbo 5/speed car I need a GREAT add-on cruise system for. I am opne ot your opinions for brand name. My expectations: LOGICAL installation. Good install manual. Longevity. durability. ease of use. The res tis peanuts. Thanks.

Rostra and SCS both make reliable aftermarket cruise controls. My preference is the Rostra units. You can also find these same units under the Audiovox name.  Installation is pretty straight forward on both, though I find the Rostra units easier to install. The features on the control arms for both brands will be the same. Rostra even offers a wireless control unit.

SCS/Frigette cruise holds the speed and is easiest to install.
The handles also look better.
