What body do you have? Is it classic or new body. If it's a classic all you need is a handle!! It's already pre wired for cruise.. If nbs you will need all the parts that audiovox listed

its the new body style. we just found the kit for it.   XK601-CRGM1A  i think its made by Rostra , but you need to call in...not on there webesite.   this is the only kit that will work..it has a separate arm that has to be cut out and installed.  this arm is mounted just behind the turn signal arm.  they make a few other kit (audiovox)...but customer reps and customer service are not on the same page.  reps say that a certain part is not a valid part number, but techs say it is...you need like a module, arm, and signal splitter...but we found out that that only works with the 1500 not the 3500hd model.

The XK601-CRGM1A isn't a Rostra piece. It will work and has different software for gas and diesel. It is designed to use a Rosta cruise switch. You can use either a dash switch, RF steering wheel mounted switch or column mounted switch.   Rostra does have a complete kit which includes an electronic cruise, but you need to follow their tech tip on installing it as it is done as a pedal pull set-up.

you are correct, i found out that the interface is made by Data Start concepts.  I think the handle might be a universal by Rostra.

The XK601-CRGM1A is made by Trilogic and is marketed by numerous venders such as DEI, DataStart, Rostra, ByPassKits.com and many others.

You can use either the Rostra handles mentioned before or the SCS/Frigette handles.

Its not a hard installation and works exactly like the OE cruise, because it is, you're just adding buttons.

What you need for the New Body style is this XK601-CRGM1A and either a SCS/Frigette 5129 handle or a rostra handle. Many venders sell it,  ByPassKits.com, Xpresskit.com, DataStart.com.

Trying to make a pedal pull work on an electronic throttle truck isn't your best choice.

The Cruise is there, it just needs the remaining parts to work.

the one i got said data start on the instructions.  the handle i believe was by rostra and had to be cut out and added behind the turn signal switch.  because this is the 3500hd model the other O.E.M handles didn't work...some stuff was different, extra plug, extra pin...this was the only way to go.  works great.  it would have been nice to have it replace the turn signal switch like on the 1500 model, but even the hazard switch on the 3500hd is bigger.  thanks for the info.

You cant change the handle on the 07 NBS.  The cruise buttons are in the wheel.

Also, I tried using an 06 Silverado handle I had in stock.. on an 07 Chevy Express van... it would fit, but that "missing/extra pins" thing was NO high for the wipers, and NO hazards.

So I wired an SCS universal handle into the van.  It was a delivery van fortunately.   It gave them cruise and that 20 dollar handle gets me 250 bucks!

how did you wire it in, are you saying that the truck had the servo, wiring etc, already?

The vehicle is wired for factory cruise,  but theres no handle.   On some GM's you can just change the handle and plug it in.  On some GM's, theres NO PLUG (comming out of the junction block with the ignition wires), you have to wire your handle into the wires at the BACK of the junction block.   Get it?  They go into the back of the junction block, and come out in the front and go to a 4 pin plug up near the turn signal lever.  OR they dont come out the front and you have to get them in the back.  But it's not hard to do.
