A large number of ISP's have added spam filters to the e-mail servers that you use. While these are great for stopping unwanted e-mail messages, these also filter wanted e-mail messages. Because of this, the amount of returned e-mail we receive on a daily basis has increased dramatically, many new members are not receiving the e-mail that contains their unique activation link, and some existing members are no longer receiving forum post notifications.

So if you'd like to activate your membership or receive forum post notifications, please add the12volt.com to your approved sender list for your personal spam filter programs and/or your ISP's filters. If you do not know how to do this, or if you do not know if your ISP is filtering your e-mail, please contact your ISP.

We despise spam as much as anyone and we do not and will not share or sell your e-mail address to anyone nor do we ever send any e-mail to you that you have not specifically requested. Your e-mail address is only needed for your use in the forums (forum post notifications, private messenger notifications, and lost password retrieval).

If you are receiving forum post notifications and no longer wish to receive them, instructions and a link are included in the notifications to turn them off. You may also turn e-mail notification to your posts on or off in your profile.

In order to prevent the amount of returned e-mail we receive on a daily basis, all member accounts that have e-mail from the12volt.com blocked or any account that does not have a valid e-mail address will be deleted or made inactive. This includes e-mail accounts that are over quota. All new accounts that contain an invalid e-mail address will be deleted or remain inactive.
