Topic: editing and deleting messages

I noticed that you can only edit messages (and delete) on page 1 of any topic. Once the topic goes over a page ie. you get to page 2 or more, you cannot edit (or even delete) your own messages even if you are the last person who wrote the post.

Can this be fixed sometime? It would be nice to edit some errors typed instead of having to put an extra post just to correct the prior post's error/s.

Thanks,

Mark

You would probably get a better answer if this was in the "helps and how-to's" forum. But I have noticed that you can't edit or delete if the post is on a page other then one of the original post.

auex, next time if you check carefully you will notice that it happens only when the number of posts get over 1 page. If your message fits in the "first" page limit, we are still in business. Once our message gets to be on overflow from page 1, no more editing or deleting. You're right, I will try posting this in the help section. Thanks.

I guess this is the right place to ask this so here it goes.. I noticed that you can only edit messages (and delete) on page 1 of any topic. Once the topic goes over a page ie. you get to page 2 or more, you cannot edit (or even delete) your own messages even if you are the last person who wrote the post.

Thanks in advance and I am sure others have noticed this too,

Mark
