Hey guys,

I'm building an amp rack to put in my avalanche and I was wondering what I need to do if I wanted to cover the amp rack with plexiglass.   Can you do it?  Will the amps over heat?   Can I just add some vents on the side or something else to do it.

Pics of other amp racks covered would be great to if this is possible.

It would be a good idea to put fans at either end, one sucking, one blowing, to move air across the amp.  Also, make sure you use thick enough 'glass or you run the risk of it bowing (learned that the hard way the first time I ever covered an amp).

Here are some pics of my really, really old setup (I sold the car back in '04).  I had a big amp.

I agree with Pierson there.......if u wanna get really technical u can even but a thermostat on the inside of it so if it goes above a certain temp fans kick on, very cool but some might say overboard
