So I built my first box(well its practically done, the pictures are self explanatory) and I think it's going to work out pretty well, although it didnt occur to me until about the time the caulk was drying that im a complete pet monkey for not cutting the subwoofer holes before i mounted the baffle, oh well i'll get it done.

Here are the specs and a google sketchup of the box.

Box:
Width 28"
Height 14"
Depth 26"

Vent:
Height 12.5"
Width 3"
Length 18.5"

looks good..  i dont think cutting the holes will be a problem..  especially if your using a jigsaw..  i actually normally build my boxes like that.. cut out the port holes and sub holes last.. the box acts like a table and makes the cutting easier..   just dont forget to blow all the wood out of the box when ur done!

how did you do the math for the 2 woofers. I wanna make the same setup for 2 IDQmax 12" woofers. When you calculate the slot port how do you know how big to make it?
