I am currently in the process of designing a screen mounted in a center console that when turned on will rotate out from behind a dead panel.

I am using a linear actuator to control the motion. My only problem is at certain points during the swing the motion gets very jerky and it kind of stutter steps until it reaches a point then smooths out again.

I am using two lazy susan bearings from woodcraft to handle the rotation. the arm for rotation is fixed to one side of the rotating assembly the other side just resides on the bearing.

any thoughts
