I have an older car, and you can tell by looking at the dashboard and plastic parts.... they look aged.

If I wanted to paint my dashboard, what would I use to do so? any special type of paint?

Its a 96 cougar, and it aside from some smooth plastic pieces, it also has that textuRED / wrinkled dashboard. Its also some kind of green, I would like to paint it maybe a blue, or black, or just some other colour that would look nice.

Has anyone ever done this before?

oh wow, see I never would have found that lol.

Thanks for the link. Basically I just buy some of this stuff for my particular needs, and paint away.

I like it :)

also, any local auto paint supply store will carry SEM paint. its actually a dye rather than paint. and is used for plastic, vinyl, carpet, seat belts, doesnt chip off, or break and flexes with any surface or material. it can even be made in any custom colors you choose and then put into spray cans right there for you to use for yourself. PPG and SEM also make several types of "texture" spray that you can paint on and then paint over with SEM spray. have fun!! posted_image
