Pretty much what the title says, is it possible to put folding rear seats into a 96 cougar? It would really help with my amp situation if it were possible.

Yes it is possible. It may take some significant fabrication, but it is possible.

thats what i was hoping not to hear.

I was actually hoping it was like a feature of this car, but just not installed in mine. I was thinking maybe i could just find a folding seat for my model of car and drop it in....

Guess not eh?

What would be involved exactly?
