I am trying to decide what to use to build an enclosure for 2 horns to mount on the tower of my wakeboard boat.  They measure 2.75"(H) x 23.25(W)  I need the box to be relatively lightweight, but able to endure the outdoors.  Any suggestions?  I have never worked with fiberglass, I was thinking maybe a black plexiglass?  ANy suggestions would be much appreciated!

in my experience fiberglass is alot easier to work with than plexi. Just start with a fram made out of wood (MDF) about the size that you want it. If you need to keep it light use 1/2 inch. After you get the fram buitl just stretch it with a mold fabric and resin it. If you don't have mold fabric try a grill cloth. What ever material you use just staple it to the fram and resin away. Mold fabric is kind of like a flece type material.any fabric store should have it. If you have to you can use an old T shirt
