Hey, i'm new to this forum and i was curious if anyone had ideas on how to make custom door panels from scratch. I recently bought a 1973 Ford Maverick 2-door and it doesn't have any door panels. The interior of the door itself is flat with just the window crank and door handle to work around. I would like to create a panel to enclose a 5-1/4" or 6-1/2" speaker. If anyone could post some suggestions that would be great! Thank you!

Your best bet would be to check out a few auto uphostery shop. Not to say you dont have the skills but would cheaper than you could buy the stuff to do it.
