My question is has any ever build a box like pictured or fiberglass boxes for C3 corvettes 68-82.  Also what type of wood is better for the 8in subs.  The current boxes are made of 3/4in mdf.  Thanks for any help.

For a 75 Vette, you might find it difficult to install.  If you can get pass the wheel humps it will work.

that picture of it is in a 78-82 the only difference is the back glass.  Im just looking for options as i am tired of having the 2 boxes in there and fiqure if i can get some more room and a better sound out of the subs why not make a new box.  Thanks for the reply

I had four ten in the back of my 74.  3/4" will work fine, not much benifit to go down to 5/8".   Front stage is alot harder.   Want more room one ten (ported box)

like to see how it'd look

Look twice, think thrice, 1 splice/ 1 slice!
This is a phrase i came up with and something i will now live by.
