i got an 04 dodge dakota ext cab, was lookin to put 4 12" re sr subs downfiring, i was wondering if anyone knows if downfiring is the best way to go? i would like it cause it would be hidden, but will it produce good sound?

They would work but the only thing that is bad about down firing is the the weight of the sub is on the screws only and not the box so if you predrill the holes in the mdf might have the problem with the sub weight making the holes strip out. Hit me up if you want me to design something for you. L x W x H of the space that it is going into if you want something. Just let me know
