Ok, im not really new to making speaker boxes, but im just new to cutting the circles out with a router bit considering i just found out that we have one. What type of bit will i need to use for this and any ideas for a router jig? -------------

thanks, ive read that post and was going to do that, but our router doesnt have the eye holes to put a threaded rod through. I was thinking about taking a 1/4" board and cutting it the same shape as the base and maybe 16 to 17 inches long from the bit and drilling holes in increments of 1/4 inches -------------

If you are going to make a custom guide/template and you project requires accuracy, make sure that template is accurate as well

yea, i was gonna make sure that the inner ring diamater matched up the same on my jig as it does for the sub and outer diamater if i go for flush mount

Holes 1/4 inch apart will give you only 1/2 inch intervals. The thing I posted a link to gives choices in 1/4 inch intervals. Plexiglass will last much longer than any wood.

well, i dont build boxes much. in the past i have used a jigsaw but i just wasnt pleased with the holes from it. so im breaking the router out and just trying the plywood for my w6 box. speaking of, i will have to post pics for everybody -------------
