i have my box built sub in and tested and everything and i absolutely love it. i was wondering about wrapping it. i have built and wrapped boxes before with vinyl, but the sides never turned out great and i was wondering if anybody new any tips or techniques, thanks, patrick

Try setting the endcaps in about 3/8 of an inch.  Then cut an endcap out of 1/4 inch stock.  Cover it and set it into place.

the box has already been built. i was thinking about, since i have some left over mdf, cutting the pieces to extend out 3/4" past the sides so i could wrap the new pieces, tuck them up under the ends and then put the end caps in

If you haven't already done this project yet, make sure you buy the 4way stretch vinyl for getting around the corners, it's more exspensive but a LOT easier to get around corners without the "elephant skin" forming.

in addition to the above post.....If you are not using the 4 way stretch vinyl, roundover the edges 1/2 roundover bit with a router or any other means to avoid "elephant skin"
