I am building a sealed box for a 10" that I am going to flush mount. The box will be flush mount in my spare tire well.  I am looking to put fabric over the whole thing including over the face of the woofer, to make it look like there is no woofer there.

Is there a specific type of fabric that I can put on the over the face of the box, without altering the SQ? And where might I purchase this fabric? Would prefer a vinyl or leather look, if possible, but any will work.

I am assuming this can be done since door speakers, and house speakers usually have something over them.

Thanks.

I seem to remember that years ago Select Products carried a few different "acoustically transparent" materials. don't know if they still do, or how well they will work for you though.

Thanks.
I did not know what the material was called, now that I do, I have found quite a few places that sell it.

Thanks again.
