are you doing a bed cut ?

if so i wouldnt use 10 inch loudspeakers. I can help you come up with some plans pretty easy but in a lot of instances you can buy the box for abaout as much as you can build it unless its some crazy box like one used in a bed cut. I dont think what you have in mind will sound to good without a bed cut. those can be pretty vigerous if you have never done one or know some one who has done one.

I am actually doing a bed cut on my 2006 gmc sierra but I am going a bit over kill I am using 6 orion hcca 15's and 30k watts

but send me the dimensions of the bed and the model of the sub so i can look up the air space requirements and lemme know excatly what you are looking for in terms of box design !

So why not 10s?

For the original poster:

What is your goal sound wise. Are you looking for SPL or SQ?
Do you intend to compete?

guess its more of a personal preferences, but in my direction a bed cut is not a simple project so if you are going to tackle this labor intensive project make it worth your while. I have done probally 4 bed cuts this last year where i work and yes 3 will pound but haha you are cuting a series of masive holes in the truck might as well make it hurt lol

You can over size the cut. Anytime I ever cut i always cut as large as i possibly can. That way you can go bigger, not to mention makes install way nicer and easier.
