ok so i have a 2001 suburban and i want to upgrade my my sub. i am reluctant because at the moment i dont want to install an after market amp. i use my truck and can not spare any space. my business is mobile detailing, so the back is often a little damp or full of crap and i am worried about damaging the amps. i thought i could just upgrade the sub to the new pioneer shallow mounts, but how much better would it sound with a stock amp? is it work it? my buddy can get me a really good deal on the sub so price is not a problem

mount a small amp under a seat and take the box out if you need the room.
