I want to start vacuum forming little pieces to create molds and organize my tools. I know that this site is focused on 12 volt and not 120 volt, but I can use some help figuring out how to heat the plastic before making the mold.
I was thinking about using a couple heat elements from an electric oven, but I'm not really sure what is needed to wire them. I don't believe I need to monitor the heat with a thermostat, so is it just a matter of connecting wires from the elements to a fuse and then off to the outlet?
I would appreciate any feedback you could give me.

Nice! I have a different design for the layout, but purchasing one or maybe two small electric grills should do the job. Thanks for the post.

I think its attched at the top you lower it to the plastic until its heated then raise the heater up.
