I have searched but when you put the word "fiberglass" into the search field it brings up every topic here.

I am trying to build a fiberglass box for 1 12" sub to fit in the trunk of a 2003 Mustang. The box will be on the passenger side wall of the trunk, as of now I have a base built out of MDF that will go on the floor and follows the curves of the bottom of the side panel. My plan is to get the back of the box, the part that will sit up against the interior panels of the trunk fiberglassed up first. Once I have that I can pull the box out and keep adding layers on the inside until it is strong enough. Next I was going to put the ring in and form up the contours of the front, lay the fabric over it and glass that up.

I guess what I am wondering is if I finish the back first, will I have any bonding problems when I try to do the front?

Scuff up the areas you are bonding with some 40 grit sandpaper and they should bond just fine.
