I'm building a center console addon for a friend in a 97 k1500... the only problem I can't find a solution to is how to attach the bottom of the enclosure to the carpeted area? to clarify.... when I'm stretching the fleece I'm not sure how I will anchor it to the carpeted area without damaging it... box design kinda outlined below

I'm not sure what you are referring to by anchoring the fleece. The simplest way would be to make most of it out of MDF. Run two mounting bolts through the floor ans secure it that way.
