Long time no see... I believe it's been maybe 5 years since I was here last.

I finally got a basic system in my car so many years later.

Long story short, the box I have is shaped funny and I need to know the volume because I think the port size is wrong as it makes a kind of chirping noise at loud levels. This goes away when I shove my arm in the port thus making it smaller.

The box is kind of shaped like this, sort of a trapezoid.

Divide it up into rectangles and triangles. Or put some inside dimensions on the drawing, along with the inside width and tell us if it has a divider.

or buy enough shipping peanuts to fill the enclosure. Build a 1 cubic foot box and begin dumping the peanuts into the box. Count the number of times the peanuts fill the box.

I think I got it.... I used the calculator available here. It occured to me that the angles themselves shouldn't make a difference to the volume if the measurements are correct, and this works out to 3 Cubic Feet.

so using the port calc, a port of 4" dia 9.25" long should be tuned to about 30Hz.
