I am thinking of making a set of custom fog lights for a 2012 evo im working on. I've worked with plexiglass before but in this situation I dont think it would be a good material to use due to it being kinda soft. What would be a good plastic that is easy to work with and can be carved and polished? Or would it be better to use a clear resin and pour it into a mold? Does anyone have any kind of experiance with something like this?

Polycarbonate is what i perfer over plexiglass because it doesnt crack and is much easier to machine.
