Was tired of my old setup and I'm currently working on replacing all of my equipment with equipment that I actually carry... so I decided to go forward with a whole new amp rack set up that was a little more 'show car' since my car is the demo car for the business. I have it all mocked up for all 3 amps, but have to wait to get the actual amps. When I replace the sub, I will get a new box and match the carpet.

The final setup will be 2 MRPF300 4 channel amps (both bridged) and a Mono amp running in 2 ohms (not sure which Alpine amp, probably the MRX-M110). I decided to go with 2 of the MRPF300 because I've had one in inventory for a while now, so it was better for me financially to just have to pick up a 2nd of the same amp and use this one. It was also based a lot on size. The MRPF300 is a very small amp and allowed me to fit 2 of them side by side while still leaving enough width to fit the mono amp.
One question I do have though is whether or not I should install some kind of ventilation system. I know my Kicker amp was run in a very tight space when I had my Dodge Ram for quite a few years and never gave me issues, so I'm thinking that with the minor load I'll be putting on the amps (not running them extensively, and mainly keeping it at a middle volume) that they should be ok, but I have not worked much with the Alpine amps so I wanted to check with you guys and see what you thought. Obviously for hard demos where the amps will be working hard I can remove the cover temporarily, but am I likely to have heat issues with daily light use?

does the cover sit very close to the top of the amps? if there is about 2.5 inches to the bottom of the cover then i think you'd be ok for light use. but it could still over heat if its already hot in your car. id use a fan if it was my car just to be safe. you can probably sneak some sort of vent hose out the back somewhere without being seen.

The amps are propped up at a slight angle so the top of the amp (towards the front of the car) is within 1/2" to the lid and the bottom of the amp has a little more space. I will probably wire up a small 12 volt computer fan to try to get some air flow.... just need to figure out where to run it. If I add a fan(s) should I do a 2 fan setup... one bringing air in, and the other out... or will just a fan bringing air in be ok?
