Has anyone ever put a port in a fiberglass box or heard on or is it not practical? I am thinking about putting ports on my box so Any feedback is appreciated

The sentra and the tacoma on my site are both ported.

My latest box is ported. I cut a hole big enough to get the port in, used liquid nails on the back to hold it in place, and then filed in the small gap around the outside edge in with bondo. Now that its painted, the port looks like part of the box, not just a plastic tube.
