I am building a wedge sub enclosure that is to fit behind my bench seat in my 1983 Chevy Scottsdale pickup.
It has been a few years since my box building days and I cannot remember, nor have I been able to find anywhere else, what the formula is for figuring the angles to cut the wood for the slanted front piece of the box.
It is a standard wedge enclosure with six sides to house one 12 inch woofer, total cu. ft is about 2.5 The top piece, bottom piece will be cut on one side so the front can be attached. The front will need to be cut at angle on two sides of board to flush with top & bottom of box. All other angles are square as in a standard truck wedge.
I will be happy to provide measurements if anyone needs them, but I think this sould do it for the formula. I can't belive I don't remember how to do this!

i dont think you should have put this topic in the fiberglass forum, maybe shouldve placed it in the car audio forum. but i'll try to help you anyways.
i think the formula you are looking for is
angle=inverse_sin(opposite/hypotenuse).
using the front of your enclosure as the hypotenuse of a right triangle, that would make the opposite leg the height of your box. this will give you the angle of the bottom piece and the front piece.
if you are still confused, post the height of your box and the length of the front piece.
